藤沢西高校48期生の皆様、「藤沢西高同窓会」へようこそ!

 

 本年(2024年)3月に西高を卒業された皆様、ご卒業おめでとうございます。2ヶ月も遅れてのお祝いとなってしまったことをお許しください。4月からは新たな環境の下、新たな一歩を踏み出されたことと拝察します。

 私は5期生で同窓会長を務めております、小島昭彦です。皆様とは2月28日の卒業式予行の日にお目にかかりました。私は西高を1981年に卒業し、大学卒業後の1987年4月から36年間、神奈川県立高等学校に勤務しました。2001年度からは10年間、母校藤沢西高校で勤務することができました。西高を離れる直前の2011年3月11日、35期生の卒業式予行の真っ最中にあの東日本大震災に襲われました。体育館がぐらぐら揺れたことを今でも忘れることができません。私はその後、藤沢清流高校で12年間過ごし、昨年3月をもって定年退職。昨年4月からは別の県立高校で再任用として働いています。

 藤沢西高同窓会へ269名の皆様のご入会、誠にありがとうございました。お一人おひとりの西高への熱い想い、今後の母校への期待を感じております。

 同窓会には、会則第3条にもあるとおり、「会員相互の和を図り、かつ母校の発展に協力することを目的とする」という目的があります。学年内での繋がりは大きいかと思いますが、同窓会はそれだけではなく、学年を超えた縦の繋がりも楽しめる場です。1期生の皆様はすでに65歳を超えており、社会人の先輩として経験豊富です。西高の先輩には、私のような教員もいますし、大学教授、テレビ局社長、歌手、プロのアスリート、藤沢市の職員、飲食店の経営者、NPOで働く方・・・、数え切れないほど多くの仕事に就き、活躍されている方が大勢います。同窓会活動を通じて、皆様はこれらの先輩と繋がる可能性を持つことができます。例えば、まだ20歳をすぎたばかりの卒業生が就職のことで、先輩に相談してアドヴァイスを受けるということも可能です。

 同窓会ではこのように16,000人を超える人たちのネットワークにより、新たな出会いを生み出し、母校発展のための支援も行います。部活動で全国大会や関東大会に出場するようなときの経費補助、出場を祝う横断幕作成をします。また、西高創立50周年を祝う事業として、体育館にグランドピアノや新たに照明機器が設置されたのも、同窓会の支援によるものです。さらに、母校の教育活動を支えつつ、お世話になった先生方との交流も企画していきます。

 本年(2024年)は藤沢西高校創立50周年の記念の年です。11月8日には藤沢市民会館大ホールで記念式典が行われます。収容人数の関係で、多くの皆様には会場に入っていただくことは叶いませんが、母校の大事な節目の年となりますので、共に祝い、これからの発展を願っていただければ幸いです。

 藤沢西高同窓会では、今後近いうちに、1期生から50期生までの会員(卒業生)が一同に会するイベントを開催したいと考えています。また、1998年頃から旧校舎内に生徒が描いてきた200点を超える壁画の数々を写真パネルにし、西棟の廊下掲示板に常設展示する準備も開始しました。西高の壁画のことは多くの皆様はご存じないかもしれませんが、かつての西高にこんな輝かしい一面があったことを知っていただくことにより、母校への誇りをいっそう強く抱いていただけたらと思います。

 48期生の皆様。ご一緒に母校を盛り上げていく活動をしませんか。いま、同窓会役員で活動している皆様は、忙しいながらも、できる範囲で、取れる時間内で、同窓会の運営に参加してくださっています。気軽な気持ちで、ぜひ仲間になっていただけたら嬉しく思います。ご関心ある方は、ぜひご連絡ください。心よりお待ちしております。

Alumni Association Constitution

Chapter 1 General Rules

(Name)

Article 1 This association is called the Fujisawa Nishitaka Alumni Association.

(Secretariat)

Article 2 The secretariat of the Society is located in Kanagawa Prefectural Fujisawa Nishi High School (3608-2 Oba, Fujisawa City).

Chapter 2 Objectives and Business

(Purpose)

Article 3 The purpose of this association is to promote mutual harmony among members and to cooperate in the development of the alma mater.

Article 4 The Society shall carry out the following projects in order to achieve the purpose of the preceding article.

(1) Mutual aid of members  (2) Holding a social gathering (3) Disseminating information on the website, etc.  (4) Management of member information (5) Others

Chapter 3 Members

(Member)

Article 5 The Society shall be organized with the following members.

   (1) Regular member Our school graduate (2) Associate member Mid-career retired student. However, those who wish to join and have obtained the approval of the officers

(3) Special member Current and former staff of our school

Chapter 4 Officers and Duties

Article 6 The following officers shall be appointed to the Society.

1. 1. 1 chairman 2. Vice Chairman 1 or more 3. One secretary-general (Vice-chairman can also serve) 4. Some secretaries

5. Two treasurers (one can also serve as vice chairman) 6. Some class representatives 7. 2 audits

(Advisor)

Article 7 The Society may appoint some advisors if necessary.

(Election of officers)

Article 8 The chairman and vice-chairman are recommended by the board of directors and decided with the approval of the general meeting. 2. The secretary general is appointed by the chairman by mutual election of the secretary.

3 The secretary, accounting, and audit shall be commissioned by the chairman. 4 Class representatives are class representatives elected for each graduation year.

(Duties of officers)

Article 9 The president shall supervise the affairs and represent the Society. 2 The vice-chairman assists the chairman and supervises the affairs when the chairman has an accident.

3. The secretary and class representatives shall manage the meeting smoothly, and the secretary-general shall supervise the secretary. 4 Accounting handles the accounting affairs of the Society.

5 The audit audits the accounting and reports it to the general meeting.

(Term of office of officers)

Article 10 The term of office of officers shall be two years and may be reappointed. 2. The term of office of a vacant officer when a vacancy occurs in the officer shall be the remaining term of the predecessor.

Chapter 5 Class Representatives and Their Duties

(Class representative)

Article 11 A class representative will be appointed to the Society.

(Selection of class representatives)

Article 12 Two class representatives will be elected from each class for each graduation year.

(Class representative duties)

Article 13 Class representatives shall communicate with the secretariat, members and members.

Chapter 6 Meeting

Article 14 Meetings shall be general meetings, board meetings, and class committees.

(General meeting)

Article 15 The General Assembly shall be composed of members from the highest voting body of the Society and shall be held once a year on the second Sunday of May (Mother's Day).

However, if the chairman deems it necessary, it may be held temporarily.

2 Matters to be submitted to the general meeting are as follows.

(1) Meeting affairs report (2) Financial statements (3) Business plan and budget

(4) Regarding the establishment, revision and abolition of the constitution (5) Other important matters

(Committee)

Article 16 The board of directors shall consist of officers and shall be held as necessary.

2. The matters to be submitted to the board of directors are as follows.

(1) Matters concerning the execution of business affairs (2) Matters to be submitted to the general meeting

(Class committee)

Article 17 The class committee shall consist of class members for each graduation year, and shall be held as necessary to assist the board of directors.

(Proceedings)

Article 18 The general meeting, board of directors, and class committee shall be convened and chaired by the chairman.

2. The agenda of the meeting shall be decided with the consent of a majority of the attendees, and if the number is the same, the chairman shall decide.

Chapter 7 Meeting

(Expense)

Article 19 The expenses of the Society shall be covered by membership fees and other income.

(Membership fee)

Article 20 The membership fee shall be a lifetime membership fee and shall be 5,000 yen per person for regular members and associate members.

(fiscal year)

Article 21 The fiscal year of the Society begins on April 1st of each year and ends on March 31st of the following year.

Chapter 8 Amendment

(Correction)

Article 22 This constitution cannot be amended without the consent of two-thirds or more of the attendees at the general meeting.

Chapter 9 Miscellaneous

(Delegation)

Article 23 Matters necessary for the operation of the affairs of the Society shall be determined by the Chairman after discussions by the Board of Directors.

Supplementary provisions

1. If you are a member of the Society and have any changes in your address, occupation, personality, etc., you must notify the secretariat each time.

2. The provisions of the membership fee in Article 20 will come into effect on April 1, 2018.
